The City Council has approved the creation of a temporary visitor route to the Roman Amphitheater.

The project, proposed by Councilor Yuri Marcialis, comes "pending the final restoration and enhancement works for the archaeological site, already funded with €4 million." Among the objectives is visitor safety, with work on potentially dangerous sections of the route.

A shuttle service will then be introduced , guaranteed through the use of electric karts already present in the municipal fleet, to overcome the difference in height between the external road system and the arena level and make the monument accessible even to visitors with reduced mobility .

The project also includes the installation of information tools to provide a thorough understanding of the site's historical and archaeological contents, as well as the implementation of a nighttime lighting system, which serves the dual purpose of enhancing the amphitheater's scenography and monitoring the area to reduce the risk of unauthorized access.
