With the new construction site between Viale Trieste and the first stretch of Via Roma in Cagliari , traffic in the area has changed not only for motorists, but also for public transport passengers: the routes of some CTM lines have undergone changes.
Lines 1, 5, 5ZE and 9 have resumed their regular routes, once again passing through Via Maddalena, in the direction from Via Roma towards Viale Trieste only.
In particular, buses on lines 1 and 5, respectively in the direction of Brotzu and Cinquini, upon arriving in Via Roma, turn into Via Maddalena and continue on Viale Trieste before resuming their regular itinerary.
Lines 5, 5ZE, 5/11, 5S (direction Vergine di Lluc), and lines 9, 9/ and school supplements (direction Via Roma), at the intersection between Viale Trieste and Via Pola, turn onto Via Pola, Via Mameli, Largo Carlo Felice, up to Via Roma where they return to their usual itinerary.
Furthermore, the two old stops on Viale Trieste have been restored , the first in front of the Nostra Signora del Carmine parish and the second at number 57. However, the stop on Via Roma, on the side of number 279, has been eliminated.
