It was a chaotic morning that Cagliari citizens had to experience driving this morning. In fact, in the center of the city, due to the closure of viale Giussani (the street parallel to viale Buoncammino), motorists took at least double the time usually expected to arrive in piazza D'Armi, both from viale Merello and via Is Mirrionis.

On the Median Flow Axis, on the other hand, it was a rear-end collision that slowed down traffic on the city's main thoroughfare. Result: collapsing traffic and nervous motorists .

The closure of Viale Giussani has led many motorists to choose alternative itineraries . Students who had to go to class in the economic-legal center had to reach it on foot or by public transport .

The change takes place early in the morning and the consequences on traffic can be seen, as Fabiano Serra, who works at the petrol station in front of the Faculty of Engineering, says : «The horns sounded all day long. Today was shocking . Compared to other days, there was twice as much chaos.'

But the citizens consider the roundabout in Piazza D'Armi useful: " If they really did it, it would already be something. The work should have started ten days ago and it hasn't started yet », says Fabiano. Alessandro Concas echoes him, « if he eliminates the traffic lights, so be it ».

Also on the Axis Mediano, theoretically fast-moving, there was a rear-end collision at the junction for viale Marconi which caused inconvenience and long queues .
