General Stefano Messina, new commander of the Sassari Brigade, visiting Cagliari, at Palazzo Bacaredda.

Messina was received by the mayor Paolo Truzzu, for a meeting defined as "cordial and profitable".

«The visit of the new commander of the Sassari Brigade – explains a note – represented an important moment of dialogue and cooperation between the Armed Forces and the municipal administration.

The meeting, held in the elegant setting of Cagliari Town Hall, began with a welcome from Mayor Truzzu, who praised the fundamental contribution of the armed forces to the safety and well-being of the community. General Messina thanked the mayor, underlining the importance of collaboration between the Army and the local authorities."

During the meeting, numerous topics of common interest were addressed, including security and public order.

On this occasion Messina shared his experience and underlined the value of joint preparation and planning to meet citizens' needs.

«The visit – concludes the note from the Municipality – was a precious opportunity to strengthen the bond between the Armed Forces and the capital of Sardinia and demonstrated the commitment of the local and military authorities in working together for the good of Cagliari».
