The protest in via Roma in Cagliari, under the regional health department, of the precarious socio-health workers of the Monserrato Polyclinic has not stopped: 36 of them are carrying out an all-out protest with a gazebo on the road to ask for stabilization and who do not are forgotten.

«A week has passed since our protest began, but we haven't given up. The rain filtering through our tents didn't stop us, the cold that we are defeating with blankets and stoves didn't stop us", say the protesters.

«We apologize to the inhabitants of Via Roma if our generator is a little too noisy but we really have no other way to heat ourselves, in fact, while you're at it, give us a generator that's a little less noisy and continue to support us», is the appeal.

Just like the 118 rescuers, during Covid, «we were the heroes who saved the lives of your loved ones. Today, thanks to God, life has returned to normal, everyone has forgotten about us, not through our fault, but due to the clear responsibility of others, our fixed-term contracts have expired and we are without work, despite the fact that there are no hundreds of OSS are on appeal and the price of this absurdity is paid by the patients and their families, by the healthcare staff, by our other colleagues called to work in inhumane conditions."

The members of the garrison want to make it known « that at night in our departments only one OSS is present and sometimes an operator has to cover even three departments. We renew our appeal to all political forces and to the Health Councilor and the general management of the hospital to start the process of our stabilization."
