Cagliari, the "extra compensation" for the Lirico employees in the crosshairs of the unions

The "extra-contractual compensation" of some employees of the Teatro Lirico of Cagliari in the crosshairs of the unions.

Fistel Cisl Sardegna, USB Sardegna and LiberSind Sardegna have sent a letter to the Superintendent and the Theater Council and to the Auditors of the District State Attorney's Office , to obtain clarifications on the sums paid «in a flat-rate manner and on a monthly or annual basis, for carry out tasks and hold positions, in some cases without foreseeing a time limit".

In the note, signed by the secretaries Omar Marras, Omar Trudu and Giuseppe Lo Curcio , it is asked, among other things, «whether it is legitimate to recognize, without any deadline, 800 euros per month to the first violin of the orchestra, with an agreement to transform the contract in vertical part time at 30% and still in a probationary period, for performances that are difficult to quantify and which may not be requested by the next Superintendents".

Again: «If for the roles assigned to some employees, some without a term, it was not appropriate, or necessary, to ascertain the requirements following evaluations in comparison with other workers, through an expression of interest».

And then: «Is it true that some employees receive, or have received, 500 per month for “availability” , without the criteria for identifying this sum being known» and «if it is true that 6,000 were assigned to an employee one-off euro with the motivation of rewarding the commitment, availability and dedication shown in carrying out one's duties".

And again: «If it is true that an employee was awarded 2,200 euros per month, for 4 months, in addition to the normal salary, for the drafting of competition notices » and «with what criterion was this sum identified, which corresponds approximately the monthly salary of an additional worker".

But there are many other requests for clarification put in black and white by the unions, who after having learned "with disappointment" of the existence of such extra compensation are now asking for "an urgent response".
