"An experiential and immersive journey to discover the genius of Leonardo da Vinci ." This is how the Lazzaretto Art and Culture Center in Cagliari promotes its exhibition dedicated to the "Universal Genius," an official statement. A cultural and educational event that combines art, science, technology, and experimentation in a journey accessible to audiences of all ages.

The official opening will take place on Wednesday, February 4th at 10:00 a.m. The exhibition is sponsored by the City of Cagliari and included in the official program of the Department of Culture. The selection of functioning wooden models, drawn from Leonardo's famous codices, which can be operated by visitors, is impressive. Machines, hydraulic systems, lifting mechanisms, and instruments of war, all made by the Friends of Leonardo Association, are on display.

Alongside the practical section, the exhibition features an innovative virtual reality installation that reconstructs the idea of the ideal city conceived by Leonardo in his writings. The 20 VR headsets will allow visitors to fully immerse themselves in Leonardo's urban universe, "exploring it firsthand and virtually walking through the streets of the city he envisioned over 500 years ago."
