The fire devastated half a hectare of forest.
Marco Curridori, the 50-year-old from Villacidro who had already been saved from the beating last Saturday, was released and subjected to the obligation to report to the barracks and sign on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

The facts
After the fire in July which had already devastated a part of the green area, the flames broke out again in the urban park of San Michele on the afternoon of 16 September. According to the Forestry Corps agents, he wanted to punish the owners of the pizzeria located inside the park because, according to him, they had fired him without paying everything due.
On Saturday he was caught while setting the fire by one of the managers of the pizzeria: a fight broke out which ended with the arrival of the police and Curridori's transport to hospital. A few hours later the man returned and damaged the car of a pizzeria employee and the park cameras with a chain and a helmet. Here he was caught in the act by foresters, who arrested him. Ended up under house arrest, he escaped on Sunday and was arrested again for this, this time by the police.
Today he appeared in court for the immediate trial. The lawyer representing him, Ignazio Ballai, asked for defense terms and obtained his client's release: he will have the obligation to report to the barracks three times a week.
