There are videos documenting the minutes immediately preceding the death of Salvatore Pani, the 69-year-old taxi driver struck down by an illness this morning in via Riva Villasanta, in Cagliari , in front of the Pirri Municipality headquarters.

The victim had just had an argument with some newly transported foreign customers: the argument would have resulted from a misunderstanding about the fare. The spirits lit up and Pani's heart did not hold up: he collapsed to the ground and any resuscitation attempt by the 118 rescuers proved useless.

Those agitated phases were taken up by two objectives. One is that of the dash cam mounted in the taxi. The other is from the smartphone of one of the customers, who wanted to document what was happening during the discussion.

Both sequences were acquired by the agents of the Volanti who rushed to the scene after the report of the death. They would prove that there would be no physical confrontation between the contenders.
