The investigators of the judicial police of the Forestry Corps, on the order of the public prosecutor Rossella Spano, have seized the area where a six-storey building is under construction.
According to the first rumors, the Prosecutor would have intervened after a series of complaints presented by private individuals due to the heights exceeding those indicated in the initial project.
A problem that had already been examined administratively before the judges of the Tar.
Now it is the Public Prosecutor's Office that imposes a halt on the construction site where, in the spaces of the former film-theater, a shopping center and underground car parks will have to protrude.
The building permit, issued several years ago, was requested by the limited liability company Residenza via delle Pineta of the entrepreneur Giampiero Caria. In 2015, further authorizations were requested for the variations to the original project.
"I need to examine the documents, I can only say that the prosecutor's intervention concerns a problem of volumes and authorizations," says the company's lawyer, Toto Casula. "On Monday, together with the administrative colleagues who had already dealt with the case, we will examine the documents in order to be able to prepare the defense".
