About two hundred protesters took to the streets of Cagliari to protest the part of the security bill that concerns protests and demonstrations in the streets. Signs and banners for freedom of speech and demonstrations. But also flags and chants for Palestine with a protester who marched showing a sign with the photo of Yahya Ibrahim Hassan Sinwar, the head of Hamas killed three days ago during an Israeli bombing. In coordination with the writing: "Terrorist is Israel".
It is the first demonstration in the streets after the tensions of the denied march last October 5th, again in the Sardinian capital: the participants had managed to march despite the ban imposed by the Police Headquarters against which the student network has filed an appeal with the prefect . No stop instead to today's march that started regularly around 5 pm from via Sant'Alenixedda, next to the Teatro Lirico.
At the head of the procession was a group of young people with a banner in their hands. The message: "Your repression will not stop us, gherraus impari" (let's fight together).
The first chorus referred to the tensions of two weeks ago: "October 5 taught us, forcing a blockade is not a crime". The demonstration is promoted by the Sardinian Assembly against the Ddl 1660. "With this "whistle-law" the Meloni government wants to "settle accounts" with all the realities and experiences of ongoing struggle - reads a press release - and create the necessary legal instruments to nip future, inevitable social conflicts in the bud. The will to war on the external front requires a peaceful social context on the internal front, and all the State apparatuses are working towards this".
The procession marched through the streets of the center. Final destination Piazza Yenne.
