A 21-meter vessel with four people aboard ran aground on the rocks near Dragunara. The alarm was raised around 1:00 AM, prompting the intervention of the Coast Guard patrol boat CP 871. No one was injured. The operation took place in difficult conditions, with rough seas, strong winds, and the darkness of the night. Upon reaching Dragunara, the officers found the vessel stuck stern-first on the rocks.

The four people on board were in good condition, despite moments of great concern. Two women were transferred to the patrol boat and taken to the customs dock in the port of Alghero, where an ambulance was waiting. Neither woman required any special medical attention.

The patrol boat then returned to Dragunara, where a specialized company had arrived in the meantime to attempt to salvage the vessel. Initial checks ruled out any obvious or significant leaks, and the delicate refloating operations began. The vessel was gradually freed from the rocks and refloated. At the end of the operation, no traces of pollutants were detected in the sea. The circumstances that led to the vessel's landing on the Dragunara rocks remain to be reconstructed.
