He groped a 13-year-old girl in Marina Piccola and will now be repatriated. The announcement on Facebook was made by Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi . "A foreign citizen accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in Cagliari has been repatriated. The man, under the pretext of having a group of young women take his photograph, grabbed the wrist of one of the girls present and attacked her. Tracked down a few hours later by the Flying Squad, he was first taken to a CPR and then boarded a flight bound for his country of origin."
The foreigner is Sabri Souaissa , a 40-year-old Algerian asylum seeker, arrested for aggravated sexual assault on a minor that occurred last month in Marina Piccola. According to the charges, the 40-year-old Algerian approached the girl to have his photo taken and then a selfie. At that point, as revealed by the investigations of police officers coordinated by director Davide Carboni, the man grabbed her hand and groped her. The prompt reaction of the victim and two other young women stopped the attack. The girl immediately told her mother, and a complaint was filed.
Security cameras in the area provided useful information for the investigation. The accusations were confirmed, and a day later the man was located, again in Poetto, and arrested. Photos taken with the minor were also found on Souaissa's cell phone . He will now be repatriated.
