Tragedy in Cagliari, hit in via Peretti: he dies instantly at 16

A boy of Chinese origin living in Pirri, Xuanming Guan, was hit on the pedestrian crossing by a Fiat Punto while crossing: the victim would have turned 16 on February 8th.
The boy was hit from the side but the impact was fatal . The 118 rescue efforts were useless. Local police officers were on site to carry out investigations.
The driver of the car, in shock, stopped immediately and raised the alarm. Unfortunately, however , there was nothing that could be done for the young man . The car was headed towards the roundabout under the Median Axis bridge. Xuanming Guan was going to school.
The impact at McDonald's. He was not going at high speed and the body was thrown a few meters. Traffic disruptions were inevitable with the Via Peretti lane closed : long queues formed in both directions.
