Cagliari is the first city in Sardinia to implement the Pratobello 2026 plan, outlined last Friday by former parliamentarian and former governor Mauro Pili. The plan aims to ward off attacks on the island by multinational renewable energy companies.

How? By directly inserting references to Article 3, letter f, of the Statute into municipal urban plans , which establishes the Region's exclusive legislative competence in matters of building and urban planning.

A specific motion was presented to the city council, with Marcello Corrias (Mixed Group) as the first signatory.
