Twenty-one years in prison for the killing of his wife.

This is the sentence handed down by the Assize Court to Luciano Hellies, 78, accused of the femicide of 59-year-old Ignazia Tumatis, killed last year with 10 stab wounds in their home on Via Podgora.

The judges deemed the aggravating circumstance of marital bond equivalent to the mitigating circumstances, thus accepting the conviction request of the public prosecutor Diana Lecca.
