He escaped from house arrest for the second time in three days after tampering with his electronic bracelet. This is what happened late yesterday evening when Carabinieri from the Pirri station arrested a 47-year-old unemployed man, resident in the capital and already known to law enforcement.

The military responded to an alarm signal sent by the electronic monitoring device. The operations center, detecting the anomaly, immediately dispatched a patrol to the scene. The officers found the man outside his home. The bracelet was found to be cut and therefore unusable.

The incident is entirely similar to the one that occurred on July 16, when the 47-year-old was arrested by the Radiomobile Section of the Cagliari Provincial Command for the same violations and subsequently placed under house arrest, awaiting trial by fast-track procedure.

On this occasion too, after having stopped him and accompanied him to the barracks for the usual formalities, the Carabinieri took him back to his home, where he was once again placed under house arrest.
