Gas leak and traffic chaos in the area between Viale Diaz, Via Roma and Via XX Settembre in Cagliari.

A bulldozer working on one of the many construction sites in the area cut a pipeline of the city network at the foot of the Generali building, causing the dangerous leak that saturated the air in the area.

The firefighters immediately intervened on the spot and secured the area. Traffic on Viale Diaz was blocked and the huge amount of traffic, already penalized by the works on Via Roma, remained paralyzed for a long time.

Local police officers are also at work trying to manage traffic.
