In viale La Plaia, via Sassari, Largo Carlo Felice, viale Sant'Ignazio: no one was spared. Dozens of cars were taken away by tow trucks, which today in Cagliari "massacred" along the return route of the procession of Sant'Efisio.

A clarification is obligatory: the no-parking signs were placed in compliance with the 48 hours prior to the entry into force of the ordinance. So the means of removal acted in compliance with the highway code.

But another type of problem is raised in the city council: "I don't know how many vehicles have been removed, but it is certain that I have received an impressive number of reports from Cagliari citizens who have remained stranded, even from doctors of the Santissima Trinità", reports the leader of the Democratic Party at Palazzo Bacaredda, Fabrizio Marcello, who works in the hospital. The exponent of the opposition underlines: "The point is that the bans started at 8 in the morning, when the simulacrum of the Saint is not expected before 10 pm. What was the point of that time?", he asked. And he adds: "Those who live in the affected areas were used to removing the car in the afternoon: even in 2019", the last party in grand style, "the ordinance started at 3 pm".

To confirm Marcello's thesis, in addition to the old documents, there is a further detail: in the municipal offices they were so used to that time that the link of the ordinance shows the time of 3 pm, even if the provision then refers to the 8.

«I would not want this choice», concludes the councilor dem, «to be linked to a possible lack of availability of tow trucks, with the new management: few means and, to avoid not being able to remove the cars, they brought forward the timetable of prohibitions".
