A dispute between foreigners that broke out this afternoon in Piazza del Carmine, in Cagliari, ends in blood. A thirty-one-year-old Gambian was attacked by a compatriot, who bit off the phalanx of his hand. The injured man was transported to Brotzu.

In addition to the 118 rescuers, the Radiomobile carabinieri also intervened on site and set out on the trail of the person responsible, about whom the attacked person did not want to provide information.

But it cannot be ruled out that he was one of those involved in a further episode of violence recorded in Viale Fra' Ignazio, where blows were allegedly struck with a sharp object during another argument. On which, however, no further details emerged.
