A wallet theft from Zara in via Manno , the alarm to the carabinieri and a man on the run to the train station. This is what happened last night in Cagliari.

A 21-year-old Algerian , who in terms of features and clothing corresponded to the person reported, was then stopped by the carabinieri: the man, who is domiciled in Villanovaforru in a reception facility for asylum seekers, at the sight of the military tried to kick towards them to escape capture, but he was blocked, placed in safety and taken to the service car.

The subsequent search allowed to find a women's clutch bag with 740 euros inside , on which the 21-year-old was unable to provide explanations. The money was seized.

The young man, however, who was not recognized by the woman who reported the theft in via Manno, will have to answer for resistance to a public official .
