A disjointed row of concrete blocks. Many of them knocked down due to numerous accidents and surrounded by barriers. Finally a gate, unsightly "and unsafe, with no function other than being an eye-catcher."

This is the description of what is found around the dirt parking lot of Marina Piccola, in Poetto, given by the municipal councilors of Anima di Sardegna Ferdinando Secchi and Alessandra Zedda, in a question addressed to the mayor of Cagliari Massimo Zedda.

The document was filed to ask "whether the administration intends to work to fix up the area with an intervention that restores a dignified appearance to one of the most visited points of our city, with a project that can combine environmental sustainability, the tourist vocation of the city and, most importantly, the safe livability of the pedestrian area next to the dirt road".
