Cagliari, debris falls from the Asse Mediano overpass: via Torricelli remains closed

Via Torricelli, in Cagliari, is still closed to traffic due to falling debris from the Asse Mediano overpass in the early afternoon.

The Municipality's civil protection has closed access to the intersection with the Canneto-Vesalio-Flavio Gioia roads and at the junction for the Asse mediano (for those arriving from Fonsarda).

Late in the evening, despite the darkness, the intervention to secure and verify the stability of the structure was underway. No indications were given on the possible reopening.
