Cagliari, cleaning operation at the Bastion: the writings removed from the plexiglass panels

A "push in the towel" to the degradation that has been affecting the Bastion for years, the symbolic monument of Cagliari .

This morning the specialized workers appointed by the Municipality, followed by architects and experts, began to clean the plexiglass panels arranged in 2015 around the wall that acts as a parapet from writing and graffiti.

«Let's restore dignity to an important place in the city», says the mayor Paolo Truzzu. The hope, continues the mayor, "is that the monument will be respected, that they can remain clean and that tomorrow we won't have to intervene again".
