Cagliari celebrates two new centenaries . Reaching the milestone of 100 candles today were Gonaria Fadda and Bruna Nioteni , who yesterday received best wishes from the Administration with the visit of the President of the City Council, Edoardo Tocco.

Born in Orani on November 2, 1923, Mrs. Fadda experienced the horrors of the Second World War in her country. But in the city, where she lived, she was able to manage a grocery store and dedicate herself to her family with her husband Michele Pilo. Also paying homage to her was a representative from Orani who visited her for the occasion.

And the same date of birth is shown on the identity card of Mrs Nioteni who for 60 years was the owner of a clothing shop in Viale Sant'Avendrace . He shared his life with the affection of his younger sister who is now 93 years old. At the 2 new centenaries of Cagliari, President Tocco presented a souvenir parchment and a commemorative medal.
