Cagliari: beating to the adoptive father and students robbed at knifepoint, twenty-year-old under house arrest

Fathers beaten, students robbed and motorbikes stolen .
A twenty-year-old Colombian resident in Cagliari was arrested this morning and placed under house arrest with an electronic bracelet.
The precautionary measure was issued by the Prosecutor's Office of the Sardinian capital after investigations with which the Carabinieri collected various clues against the young man for three different episodes which occurred between September 2023 and January 2024.
The twenty-year-old is accused of receiving a stolen scooter, of assaulting his adoptive father and of robbery against three students.
The latest episode dates back to last January, when the young man was found in a condominium in via Bolzano when, together with a minor, he was dismantling a Scarabeo stolen shortly before from a 24-year-old boy . The police returned the scooter to the owner.
According to the police, he and another boy are also responsible for a robbery suffered last October by three students who, after having dinner at a fast food restaurant, were approached by two people. One grabbed a boy around the neck and the two, threatening them with a knife, had t-shirts and gold necklaces handed over to them before fleeing.
The young man is also accused of having violently attacked his adoptive father, a 68-year-old pensioner , in September 2023. A beating which took place for trivial reasons in the area of the health complex of the University Hospital of Monserrato, which caused injuries to the victim which medical treatment is necessary.
