Inside the red networks, there are neither bulldozers nor workers .

«The construction site is not absolutely stopped but fully active» , explains Daniele Olla, municipal manager, responsible for the infrastructure and networks service. «In this phase the technicians are working to complete a series of preliminary operations , at the end of which bulldozers and workers will enter», he adds.

Having said that the Municipality's tender also provides for a production bonus for the company in the event of an early end to the works, «in this phase the technicians are carrying out the "tests"» , i.e. holes in the ground, «which are mandatory and necessary for understand where exactly the underground services pass", gas pipes, water pipes, electrical connections etc. «A preparatory and obligatory operation», explains Olla again. The administration's goal is to return this important square before the start of the 2024 summer season.
