In the event of a theft or break-in, the store's video surveillance system will immediately report the incursion to the police operations centres, ensuring rapid intervention by the Carabinieri or police.

This is the new feature of the protocol signed today in the Prefecture of Cagliari between the prefect Giuseppe Castaldo and the representatives of Confcommercio, Alberto Bertolotti, and Confesercenti, Marco Medda.
An important initiative that owners of commercial and productive activities can join. "A tool to provide greater security", highlights the prefect. "Not only that. It will guarantee greater prevention but will also give the possibility of tracing those responsible".

In recent months there have been some thefts in the San Benedetto area: cases concentrated in time and in the same area. "But the data are not worrying," Castaldo reiterates.

Bertolotti and Medda are satisfied: «An opportunity to exploit. We will spread among all the traders and shopkeepers. Fortunately, however, the situation in Cagliari, as in southern Sardinia, is not at all worrying: we live in a serene climate».
The signature on the protocol was placed in front of the provincial commanders of the Carabinieri and the Guardia di Finanza and the deputy of the police commissioner of Cagliari.
