Traffic on the Asse Mediano in Cagliari, heading towards Poetto, has been brought to a standstill following an accident near the Genneruxi exit. Emergency responders took one person to the hospital; their condition is not serious. Local police officers were on site to assess the situation. Within moments, given the rush hour, a kilometer-long line of cars had formed, reaching the state highway 131 "dir," the entrance to the city.

Around 9 a.m., there was also an accident on the Asse Mediano, causing traffic disruption. Roadworks on the 195 "rac" highway, heading towards Cagliari, also caused severe delays, especially during rush hour.
