An arrest for drug dealing yesterday afternoon in Cagliari, in the Stampace neighborhood, where a 34-year-old local was reported to the Police while he was with three kids. At the sight of the patrol car, the man fled but was stopped and identified by the officers.

In the pockets of the man's jacket, already known to the police, 19 small bags containing 63 grams of marijuana were found, while in the purse another 35 small bags containing 150 grams of hashish and 525 euros in cash, all in small denomination banknotes. During the house search, a precision scale was found.

The 34-year-old was arrested for the alleged crime of possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing. In this morning's hearing, the investigating judge validated the arrest, agreeing to a one-year sentence and a 3,000 euro fine.
