The Municipality of Cagliari allocates over 49 thousand euros to install two Christmas trees, one in Piazza Garibaldi and the other in Piazza Italia, but warns: the lighting period during the day could be subject to " any energy restriction measures on the 'use of public lighting ”.

It is written in the specification that accompanies the announcement for the search for the company that will have to deal with the decorations.

In the center, according to the document, a tree "with a minimum height of 10 meters and a minimum diameter of 5 meters" will be placed, while that of Pirri must have a minimum height of 2 meters and a maximum of 4.5 meters and with a maximum diameter of 2.5 meters ".

With possible protests from environmentalists, the plants could also "be real", but also "both with lights only and stylized: to this end, ample freedom of proposal is left to the

operators ".
