New Year's Eve in Cagliari was marked by music and fun, but unfortunately there were some injuries during the celebrations.

The most serious is a 32-year-old man who was involved in the explosion of a firecracker in the Sant'Elia neighborhood.

After the alarm was raised on site, the 118 health personnel intervened and took the man to the Monserrato Polyclinic.

It is understood that due to the severity of the injuries sustained to the face, the man lost the use of one eye.
