Cabras, special guys for welcoming tourists at the Sinis Visitor Center

Smiles and proud looks. But also a great desire to make the area known to holidaymakers. This year, tourists looking for information will be welcomed at the Sinis Visitor Centre, in the village of San Giovanni, the main square, also by many special kids: they are the Sea Scouts, supervised by a tutor.
These are several young people who are part of the group that deals with social inclusion, development of autonomy, scholastic enhancement, sport and free time for people with intellectual-relational disabilities. An innovative reality where the disadvantage is peculiar and which manages in some of its aspects to make life so enjoyable that it becomes the different essential aspect of perfection. In recent days the boys have been trained by the staff of the Sinis protected arena area.
Director Massimo Marras introduced the area and all its peculiarities to the children. «Informing, involving and including are key principles on which we worked together with the Marine Protected Area and the Municipality of Cabras», say the Sea Scout coordinators, «After careful training by the MPA staff aimed also to Sea Scout staff, the info point will be open every day until September when the service will continue by the end of the weekend".
