Fatal illness for a motorist along the provincial road 71 in Cabras .

It is a 60-year-old man who, perhaps suffering from a heart attack, collapsed on the steering wheel and was no longer able to control the car that went off the road.

The tragedy occurred around 5pm on Friday.

In the car also his wife, who, from what we learn, would have tried to block the vehicle , but to no avail.

On the spot, after the alarm, the firefighters and a 118 ambulance arrived. The doctors tried to resuscitate the 60-year-old, but there was nothing to be done .

From what has been learned during the day, the 60-year-old had suffered severe chest pains .
