The free ride is about to end: in the Sinis hands on the wallet from next June 16th. Anyone who wants to park their car a few meters from the crystal clear sea will have to pay this time too. Blue stripes in San Giovanni di Sinis, Maimoni, Is Arutas and Mari Ermi . The same rates as last year are confirmed, with the same diversification between the daily hourly rate and the night rate, which will in any case leave parking free from 8pm to one in the morning.

The season ticket office at the multipurpose center in via Tharros will be open from Monday 12 June. From 16 June the purchase of the day ticket can also be made with the PrestoPark application. But not only paid parking.

Once the maintenance of the walkways has been completed, information signs will also be installed, along with the shakers which limit the involuntary removal of the quartz sand and the roll-up walkways which make it easier for the disabled. The public toilets will also be active from 16 June: you can enter by paying 1 euro.

"We are about to start this new season with a constant and renewed commitment - said the mayor Andrea Abis - These are maintenance works and fundamental installations, with which the Municipality guarantees essential services for the sustainable use of the coast and which require important investments. We have just completed the works for the reconstruction of the bridge crossing the Mari Ermi swamp. Entirely made of wood, it cost more than 100 thousand euros. The management of kilometers of beaches requires great attention and an important economic expenditure on the part of the Authority, which in recent years has managed to keep the standard high by receiving quality awards , such as that of the Five sails of Legambiente and of the coastal recycling municipality, for the great effort in the field of differentiated collection coming not only from urban areas, but also from the beaches and coastal villages that generate large quantities of waste in the summer period".

Accessibility also guaranteed in Mare Morto, where in close collaboration with the Marine Protected Area, the installation of the removable floating pier for the landing of nautical vehicles, equipped with a jib lifter for the disabled, will soon be completed.
