Offences statute-barred and immediate restitution of seized property: this is the sentence issued today by the judge of the Tempio Pausania Court, Silvia Campesi, in the context of the trial on alleged building abuses related to the renovation of a building on the island of Tavolara, owned by the brothers Vittorio and Loredana Marzano.

The investigation began in September 2019 with a complaint filed with the Tempio prosecutor's office by Grig, the Legal Intervention Group, a civil party in the trial. The environmentalists reported the expansion of a villa in Tavolara - a rural house dating back to 1936 - owned by the Marzano brothers, who were later sent to trial together with Giuseppe and Paolo Guglielmi of Igas Com srl, the company that commissioned the works, the architect and director of the construction site, Julio Cesar Ayllon, and Marilena Cardone, sole director of Cama costruzioni srl, the company that carried out the works.

According to the charges, now time-barred, the property was to be transformed into a villa of about 300 square meters on two floors, about a hundred meters from the sea in what can be considered a paradise with almost no homes.
