Budoni, container overturns due to strong wind: worker remains trapped

Tragedy touched last night on State Road 131 Dcn at the height of the village of Berruiles, in the Municipality of Budoni .

Shortly after 8pm, due to strong winds, a container from a road construction site near the tunnel overturned onto another container used as an office, inside which was a worker.

The man was not injured but had to wait inside until the Siniscola Fire Brigade freed the prefabricated building.

The worker was examined by the rescuers of the White Cross of San Teodoro who ascertained his good health conditions but, given the evident state of agitation, he was transported by ambulance to the Olbia emergency room .

The Carabinieri of Budoni are also on site.
