A young man from Budoni was injured late yesterday evening in a road accident that occurred at 11:40 PM on provincial road 24, just outside the town.

For reasons currently under investigation, the driver of a car towing a cart loaded with firewood lost control, crashing into two trees on the side of the road and ending up in a ditch . The vehicle's sole occupant was trapped inside.

The Siniscola Fire Department arrived on the scene and freed the injured man, handing him over to the Siniscola 118 emergency medical personnel. The Carabinieri of San Teodoro also intervened, conducting surveys to reconstruct the exact circumstances of the accident.
