After the one on Friday, today the second meeting between the Health Councilor Armando Bartolazzi and the unions, this time the confederal ones, took place at the Health Department headquarters regarding the dispute of the doctors of Arnas Brotzu who report the disparity of treatment on salaries compared to colleagues of other companies. The first meeting with the councilor had led to confirming the state of agitation and averting (for the moment) the strike in the largest hospital in Sardinia, now from the second one they are asking for immediate moves by the Region.

"We expect a councilor ready to intervene, because there are many inconveniences and sufferings precisely because of the imbalance that exists from territory to territory" , says Edoardo Bizzarro, regional secretary of Cisl Fp, at the end of the meeting. "We expect his intervention so that there is a rebalancing of resources in a way that creates less discomfort, at least on an economic level".

"This is a long-standing problem, which we have been denouncing for at least fifteen years," adds Roberta Gessa, regional secretary of Fp Cgil. "There is a problem at the origin in the counting of funds: more than double the current amount would be needed to close the gap ."

Also present at the meeting were the unions of nurses and Oss, whose negotiations are being conducted separately. Nursing Up closed the meeting in the prefecture negatively "because the problems of professionals who work in the health service, graduates, nurses, midwives, go far beyond economic equalization", commented Diego Murracino. "We believe that in addition to these operations, acts due at an economic level, a strategic plan dedicated to nursing professions is urgently needed in Sardinia".
