The report comes from a reader , forced yesterday to spend several hours in the emergency room of the Santissima Trinità in a very hot room , "definitely too hot for those who go to that facility to receive treatment."

"None of the air conditioners in the building were working," the reader points out, "and instead, only a few fans were installed, useful for moving air and nothing more ."

"Luckily, I got away with a 4-hour wait," the reader continues, "but there were people who had been waiting in those conditions for 12 hours . And unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be an isolated experience: some users explained that they had experienced the same discomfort two weeks ago ."

"I believe that those who go to the emergency room for an emergency should not also suffer this excessive heat, which only risks worsening evidently already precarious health conditions", the conclusion. With the hope of " an urgent intervention to resolve this situation and guarantee an adequate service to citizens: if waiting times cannot be reduced, at least that a wait in an adequate room is guaranteed, especially with these temperatures".
