Bottidda, the fire in Basileddu: extinguishing coordinated by the Forestry Corps

There are 16 fires that occurred in Sardinia today. For one of these, the Forestry Corps used air vehicles in addition to ground crews.

The emergency occurred in Bottidda , in the locality of “Basileddu”. The extinguishing of the flames was coordinated by the staff of the Bono Forestry Corps Station, with the helicopter coming from the CFVA base in Anela.

Three teams from the Forestas Agency of the Burgos-Istrallai construction sites, Boni-Santu Matteu, Bono-Pedras Rujas, a team from the Bono Barracellar Company took part. The fire covered an area of about 0.2 hectares of oak wood.
