It could finally be the right time to reopen the Aragonese Tower of Bosa Marina, closed since 2015. The Municipal Council has in fact approved the feasibility project for the recovery and enhancement of the historic building.
For the redevelopment, the municipal coffers have 150 thousand euros, arrived with regional funding . The intervention includes the complete arrangement of the area with new lighting, access stairs and parapets, which will make the monument usable after so many years. With the approval of the project, we can now proceed to the next step: the executive design of the intervention that will allow the procedure for the contracting of the works to be started.
"This project will allow our city to reclaim an asset of its identity - comments the deputy mayor and councilor for public works, Federico Ledda - as well as being able to offer tourists an additional attraction, strengthening the image of Bosa as not only a seaside destination, but also a place rich in history and culture".
Mayor Alfonso Marras was also satisfied. «The recovery of the Aragonese Tower - he stated - is a further step in the actions of this administration aimed at completing the unfinished works and enhancing the resources of our city and the territory».
