The emergency medical transport of a one-day-old child from Cagliari to Milan has been concluded.

The child was hospitalized with severe cardiac dysfunction in the "Duilio Casula" Hospital in Monserrato and needed to be transferred as soon as possible to the Irccs Policlinico San Donato in Milan.

The ambulance flight, requested by the Prefecture of Cagliari and arranged by the Summit Situation Room of the Air Force Squad Command, was carried out with a Falcon 50 of the 31st Wing of Ciampino.

The aircraft took off from Ciampino airport in the late afternoon to head first towards Cagliari airport where the child and the team embarked, and then headed to Milan Linate for the subsequent transfer to the Lombard specialized care center that was waiting for it. .
