A pony was rescued by Bono firefighters after a six-metre fall.
It happened around 1.30pm when the animal fell into a drainage ditch on the outskirts of the town.
The teams intervened promptly, after having harnessed him, pulled him up after a delicate recovery operation and returned him to the owner.
Fortunately, the pony only suffered a few grazes.
