Road block, the seven Ultima Generation activists removed from Cagliari for three years
Sitting on the road in Via Roma, they paralyzed traffic to raise motorists' awareness of the risks of climate change: they infuriated everyone and even the police commissioner's order arrivedNot only the complaint for unauthorized demonstration, road block and passive resistance to a public official, for the activists of the Last Generation, who protested in Cagliari today.
The mandatory three-year dismissal order was also issued against them. The prevention measure, signed by the police commissioner, affects all seven (five on the asphalt and two in support) of the young people present at the demonstration which blocked the central Via Roma, sending traffic into a tailspin during rush hour.
Five young people are resident in northern Italy and two in Sardinia, but not in the capital. None of them, however, will be able to set foot in Cagliari again for 36 months.
