Bitti, recovery of weapons and ammunition: 45 year old under house arrest

The Bitti carabinieri arrested a 45-year-old for illegal carrying and possession of weapons. The man was stopped in a car: searched, he was in possession of some 16-gauge cartridges that he kept in his pocket. In the rear seats, the military found and confiscated a rifle. In his home, other rifle cartridges were then recovered, as well as some parts of a weapon which, when assembled, partially constituted another rifle.

The suspect ended up in house arrest first. Subsequently he was translated at the Court of Nuoro for the direct hearing, at the end of which the house arrest was validated.
