A 16-year-old boy from Bari Sardo injured his stomach with a knife while he was in his uncle's butcher's shop in the center of the town. The accident at work occurred in the late afternoon of Friday and the young man, who was immediately rescued, was transferred under code red to the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari where the doctors carried out all the necessary checks to understand if the wound had affected the organs vital.

According to an initial reconstruction, the boy, who due to his age is gaining experience in the sector, was holding one of the knives supplied to the butcher's shop.

The 118 staff intervened on the spot and assisted by the Echo Lima 1 team, which took off from Olbia, and transported the young man to hospital. The Carabinieri of the Lanusei company are working to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the incident. His condition was not serious.
