Giuseppe Mannoni, a 28-year-old from Thiesi, hit his head violently after being pushed by a friend during an argument and is now in critical condition.
The episode dates back to last week, in the parking lot of Phi Beach, a famous club in Baja Sardinia, on the Costa Smeralda. The person responsible, a foreign boy on holiday in Sardinia, was identified by the Carabinieri and reported for serious injuries.
According to the reconstruction by the military of the Olbia territorial department, the 28-year-old was on holiday in San Teodoro and one evening with three foreign friends he reached Phi Beach in Baja Sardinia . After a night of revelry, the four, quite tipsy, were reaching the car in the parking lot of the club and started arguing. One of them pushed Mannoni who lost his balance, ended up on the ground and hit his head violently.
The young man, who initially tried to refuse treatment, was transported by a 118 ambulance to the Olbia Emergency Room. Here he was examined for the first time and left for observation while waiting for more in-depth tests. Mannoni, however, returned home to Thiesi, and the next day he felt ill. Taken to the Ozieri hospital, the doctors found a cerebral hematoma.
