Via 44 umbrellas and 31 unauthorized sunbeds from the Mimose beach, on the coast of the Municipality of Badesi . The Porto Torres Coast Guard carried out a significant maritime police operation which ended with the seizure of numerous bathing equipment including sunbeds and umbrellas, positioned after the permitted time on state-owned land, illegally occupying a part of the beach. That of bathing equipment left on the beach at night to ensure the best place in the morning is an unfortunately widespread malpractice, the prerogative of those "crafty" who, in disregard of the rules of civil coexistence and regardless of the public good nature of the coast, damage the majority of users of the sea.

A phenomenon that is difficult to contain, the subject of reports to the Authorities and a source of tension among beachgoers. In detail, around 44 beach umbrellas and 31 sun loungers, beach chairs and other objects of various kinds typical of seaside activities were removed, some of which were permanently secured to the state property by means of devices designed to prevent them from moving. The activity, which was attended by the soldiers of the Turritana Harbor Master's Office and by the employee of the Local Maritime Office of Castelsardo, was reported to the competent Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Tempio Pausania while investigations are underway to trace the owners of the equipment.

The commander of the Port Authority of Porto Torres, frigate captain Gabriele Peschiulli, ensures that "the daily surveillance activity of the Coast Guard personnel at sea and on the beaches will continue until the end of the bathing season to guarantee the safety of the nautical activities and seaside resorts and to protect the maritime state property and the marine and coastal environment from any form of abuse".
