A strong turnout, with strong civic values, marked the latest blood donation day organized by Avis at the Navy Petty Officer School in La Maddalena. Twenty-eight military volunteers from the 10th "Ermes" Course showed up at the bloodmobile, assisted by the association's volunteers and doctors throughout the blood collection process, which involved 22 of them. This concrete gesture of solidarity once again confirms the military's vital role in supporting the local healthcare needs. December thus begins with generosity. The La Maddalena branch of Avis has already scheduled two more civilian blood collections, scheduled for December 10th and 22nd near the Moneta roundabout, in the Kicco Loco bar area, which President Simone Sotgiu described as a "meeting point and solidarity for our community." The goal is ambitious: to surpass the already excellent results this year, thanks also to the crucial contribution of active-duty military personnel and students from the training institute. In November alone, approximately 90 bags were collected. To participate in the last two donations of 2025, reservations are required via WhatsApp at 0789 729017 or at the link: https://wa.me/message/NUJJVX2DPLLUH1 . Solidarity, in La Maddalena, continues to wear uniforms.
